Odis Duncan
Odis is a graduate of Northeast Texas Community College, International Bible College, now Heritage Christian University, and Southern Christian University. He holds an Associates Degree in Art, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible and a Master of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies. He began preaching on a fulltime basis in 1994 for the Hamilton Church of Christ in Hamilton, MS. He worked with the Hamilton congregation for 2 ½ years before moving to DeKalb, TX, where he preached for nearly 6 years. He began his work at Mt. Carmel on September 08, 2002. He is coeditor of the Journal of Biblical Interpretation and Application. Odis' ministry involves: preaching, teaching, writing, visiting and helping with the Lads to Leaders and Leaderettes Program.
Odis grew up in Mt. Pleasant, TX, where he graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. He moved to Florence, AL in September 1992 to attend International Bible College. After moving to Rogersville, AL in January 1993 to work with the Romine Church of Christ, he met Kimberly LeMay, whom he later married on September 24, 1994. Kimberly and Odis have three children: Joshua, Riley and Brayden. They are very involved with their children through school, Lads to Leaders and youth athletics.
