Two Sides to Every Question (Story)
Someone once said, “There are two sides to every question, but it makes a lot of difference which of the two sides you are on.” This is certainly a true statement that is worthy of our consideration. And if we consider it closely enough, we will see that it will be wise if we are found on the right side. There are also other “twos” to consider.
There are two ways of life- The Lord’s way and the devil’s way. It makes all the difference in the world which way you are following. Those who are following in Satan’s way will be lost. Those who are following in the Lord’s way will be saved. “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His son cleanses us from sin.” I John 1:7.
There are two roads to follow- One leads to heaven and the other leads to hell. Blessed is the individual that is found walking the road that leads to those glorious heights above. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13-14.
There are two doctrines that one can believe- There is the true doctrine of God and there are false doctrines of men. Of course, the only way one can be right with God is to believe the true doctrine. “Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the son.” 2 John 9.
We could go on with other “two’s” that we must make choices between. Instead let us ask ourselves, “Are we willing to take the Lord’s way in EVERYTHING? Remember, Jesus taught we are either for Him or against Him. Matthew 12:30. How is it with you? BE SURE TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE!
