3 Keys to Successful Living
Number one – remember to stay focused on God and His Word. This means put the Lord first in your list of priorities. Jesus said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33). Make it your goal to be at every worship service and Bible class. Spend time each day reading, studying and praying.
Number two – be a fruitful member of the body of Christ. Take seriously John 15:8, "is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be My disciples.” Be on the lookout for opportunities to be a productive servant in God’s kingdom. Use your time, talents, and treasures for good.
Number three – do not let anything or anyone get in your way of going to Heaven. Remember the exhortation written by James, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love Him.” (James 1:12) --Carroll Sites
